The Red Road

This is Fushimiinari taisha (伏見稲荷大社) in Kyoto. If you saw Memoirs of a Geisha, you saw this temple. It really is cool. Thousand upon thousands of torii (鳥居) in which takes an hour or so to walk through. A fabulous place. This shot I happened to run into a monk or some guy who clearly belongs there. Besides for him, all you'll find are a million tourists so get there early if you want to find him or a shot with no people in it.
