Daniel Kelly

Daniel Kelly’s distillations and simplifications of a single subject juxtaposed on highly irregular textured materials fills our senses with much more than a simple visual awakening. Inanimate objects such as bowls and vases have beauty of surface yet when rendered at Daniel’s hand (a multi-stage process of assembly of medium, deconstruction of the subject, and reconstruction using numerous media and various printing techniques), each work is brought to life so viewers see his sense of humor.
