Kyoto, Japan This was one of the cities we visited on my World Campus Afloat trip around the world. It was winter, snowing, but every structure had an architectural elegance. we stayed in a Ryokan, a Japanese hotel with paper walls and matted floors. we sat on the floor to eat dinner which they cooked at the table. When we tuned on TV, it was a John Wayne western with Japanese dubbed voices. We laughed so hard.
