Awards season is in full swing, and as fun as it is to see who brings home the trophy, we all know the real winners of the night are those who are named best dressed. Fashionable celebs may make it seem effortless as they glide down the red carpet, but behind every showstopping look, there’s always a stylist who worked tirelessly to create it.
Floral prints may be nothing groundbreaking, but it’s one stylish print that never fails your sartorial needs—regardless of the season, current influx of current trends and occasion. Of course, there are plenty of different genres of floral motifs to choose from too, ranging from charming daisy patterns, feminine rose designs and retro ditsy prints.
Whenever I’m shopping for a trendy jacket or accessory, there’s a good chance I’ve seen it on a celebrity first. At this point, my Instagram saved folder looks like a shrine to celebrity fashion trends. If Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid or Hailey Bieber have worn it, chances are, I’ve saved it.
As a fashion editor, it’s my job to write about clothes for a living. So of course, there are a handful of looks I almost always gravitate towards. A great statement coat, for one. Leather pants, naturally. I’m also a sucker for a good head-to-toe tonal moment—and apparently, I’m not the only one with good taste.
It’s about 40 degrees in New York City and I, for one, am freezing. But apparently, not everyone needs to bundle up when the temperatures drop! Most of us layer on the sweaters, jackets and cold-weather accessories as soon as December rolls around—but not Dua Lipa, who is literally too hot to get cold.
