Maki was a Japanese team that debuted at the 1974 British GP. Driver Howden Ganley crashed heavily in practice and withdrew for the season. Maki returned to F1 at the 1975 Dutch GP, shown here, with Hiroshi Fushida driving. With only 25 entrants, Fushida was guaranteed a starting place, but broke the team's only engine and was unable to take the grid. The team entered four more Grands Prix in 1975 but failed to qualify for any. One last DNQ at the 1976 Japanese GP closed the book on Maki.
