LUZ is a global lighting project based on open source technology and designed to help people int he polar regions who are physically and/or psychologically affected by lack of sunshine. LUZ is a Lexus Design Award 2015 Finalist.
The Layered is a bluetooth speaker, with the equalizer turned into an interactive tactile element on the top. Taking bands of frequencies and dedicating different controls to them, the Layered contains six transparent discs lit from the bottom. These discs correspond to different frequency bands and can be rolled up and down the Layered’s surface to work as an equalizer, allowing you to amplify or attenuate the effect of instruments in your music.
Klipp is a minimalist design created by Ukraine-based designer Line Studio. The clock body is made of stainless steel, while the arrows are made from steel rod. The elements are painted with powder-coated finish. it programmable by the user
minimalistic clock takes inspiration from this concept and reinforces hour and minute hand time-telling with a shade changing face. As it grows darker outside, so does the saturation of the clock face.
