It is sheer unimaginable that people in such, relatively small, vessels travelled thousands of miles on rivers, seas, and oceans, mostly by rowing!!! More overwhelming even: In December 2014, the remains of a Viking Longship had been found in the Mississippi river, near the Gulf of Mexico!!! Due to demonization by the Christian church, and "science", we can't even begin to understand the greatness of this last, pagan, european, culture!
