Sometimes I find the tiniest bits in my box of treasure and have to use them immediately in case I can't find them again....even if the season is not right! The base of this one is a fragment of batten from a boat and the house another little offcut (again from a boat) which I have had for years. I love the markings on it, to me it looks like stone.

Incoming tide. The old bit of ply I used as the base was found half painted white and half grey/brown. Half sea and half sand!
