Hubble Spots Two Interacting Galaxies Defying Cosmic Convention NASA - Hubble Space Telescope patch. March 2017 Some galaxies are harder to classify than others. Here, Hubble’s trusty Wide Field.

Galaxy-it looks like a portal to a place that's fascinating. Or it could be a ship that transports stars. Or it could be a hula hoop that an item in space likes to jump through as an activity.

Galaxy NGC 4594 Sombrero Galaxy): approximately 26 million light years from Earth, in the constellation Virgo, it is considered a "nearby" galaxy.

The 'Hand of God' Nebula

The ‘Hand of God’ Nebula. Was so ready for this to be a crock of shit or over photoshopped - but NASA website confirms! This is a real Nebula formation - truly the hand of God!

Astronomers have discovered the largest known structure in the universe, a clump of active galactic cores that stretch 4 billion light-years from end to end. The structure is a light quasar group (LQG), a collection of extremely luminous Galactic Nulcei powered by supermassive central black holes.

The Sword Of Orion ~ The Orion constellation is noticeable for three medium-bright stars in a short, straight row. These stars represent Orion’s Belt. If you look closely, you’ll notice a curved line of stars “hanging” from the three Belt stars.

The Hubble 12 Nebula (PN Hb 12) is a bipolar nebulae in the Cassiopeia constellation. The shape of this nebula, like a butterfly or an hourglass, was formed as a Sun-like star approached the end of its life. Photo : NASA HST, ESA, A. Zijlstra (The University of Manchester), and J. Barrington (Hubble)

This image taken with the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope shows an example of a bipolar planetary nebula. This object, which is known as Hubble 12 and also catalogued as PN lies in the constellation of Cassiopeia.
