René Lalique Dancing Nymph Cameo brooch. The rectangular gold plaque encloses a scene of five nymphs, hands joined in a circle, light draperies floating as they move round. The figures stand out against the ground which is stained a pale dreamy blue. The rose diamond border is embellished at the four corners with a gold motif containing a piece of mistletoe with dark blue plique à jour enamel. René Lalique of Paris, 1898-9.
