Paul de Lamerie (1688 - 1751) was the most famous Huguenot silversmith in early 18th century London and his works are highly notable in the Rococo style. Maynard Master worked for Paul de Lameri during 1736-45 would be Charles Frederick Kandler who arrived in London from his native Dresden in 1727. He is believed to have been a younger brother of Johann Joachim Kandler, the famous modeler at the Meissen Factory.
