1940's- Men wore long suits made of rationed material. Jackets were oversized and long, large lapels.
A bold look suit I feel is essential for a man's wardrobe. It gives the wearer a broad shoulder, which can sometimes reduce the slouching from too many hours in front of the xbox (usually) but seriously fellas, turn off the xbox, get dressed up, and go dance with somebody.
In the 1960s, this is what a man would wear to work. It was a very simple suit yet was very fashionable at the time.
