The Miller & Kreisel David 604 "satellite" speakers were usually sold along with a matching Goliath passive subwoofer. They were among the first of the satellite/subwoofer speaker systems and offered extremely transparent, airy stereo imaging and powerful yet clean highly defined bass. Today such speaker arrangements are referred to as 2.1 systems. These were a great influence on my own speaker designs.
I heard these at the 2011 AES show in NYC, and they were stunning. Amazing bass without a sub. And the clarity and imaging was exceptional. Focal Professional Active Studio Monitor Speaker (Pair, Left/Right)
Unparalleled Sound Inspired By the CLX. Martin Logan has always been my halo brand, and electrostatic speakers in general, have always been the most impressively detailed sounding speakers I've ever listened to.
