Illustrating the fairy tale 'Bunbuku chagama, the head and bushy tail of the badger turned sideways to form a compact shape. The chagama lacquered brown, the knob of the lid green, details heightened with makie; the himotôshi lined with green stained bone. Signed Yûsô with kaô on a red lacquer tablet.
