Detail, Log Cabin "interwoven" quilt. This is a visually distinctive variation of the Log Cabin format. Rather than showing the classic Light and Dark diamond formation, this example has light, medium and dark diamonds. In addition, the diamonds are made alternating the light and dark tones within, so the overall effect is of striped diamonds, and interwoven striped ribbons.
