St-Remy-de-Provence, Nostradamus Fountain | Probably the most famous native son of St-Remy, 16th century philosopher Nostradamus, is honored by this fountain in the old quarter. Van Gogh also painted around 150 canvases of the town and its surroundings during his stay during 1889-1890 at the Asylum of Saint-Paul-de-Mausole.
