This bird is called a Banded Broadbill. (the colors in the photo have been pushed and saturated to make it look more intensely colorful)

Velvet-purple Coronet (Boissonneaua jardini)  Is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is found in humid foothill forest on the West Andean slope in western Colombia and north-western Ecuador. Its highly iridescent plumage is striking, being largely bluish-purple below and on the crown, greenish-blue on the back, green on the upperwing coverts, and rufous on the underwing coverts.
