Phil Hill drove Cobras for Carroll Shelby during 1964 and 1965. Shelby challenged Ferrari for the World Manufacturer’s Championship those years. The first foray was the Targa Florio in April 1964. Phil Hill in for a pit stop at Sebring 1963 The great Phil Hill leaps from this Shelby Cobra during a pit stop at the 1963 Sebring 12 hour race. Hill's co-drivers were Ken Miles and Fireball Roberts. The car finished in 11th place but first in class. Note another legend waiting to talk to Hill. None other than Carroll Shelby wearing his trademark bib overalls and Stetson hat.
