A superb Worcester teapot and cover circa 1755, The generous globular body moulded in high relief with rococo scrollwork cartouches framed with sprigs of foliage and reserved on a 'strap-fluted' ground, the neck of the teapot and rim of the cover with delicate embossed tracery, painted within the reserves with the 'Indian Fisherman' pattern, pattern the main panels with a Chinese angler beneath a willow tree and another figure in a sampan by another willow tree growing from fantastic rocks.
