During our two months in Thailand we spent time in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pai, Krabi, Phi Phi, and Phuket mostly just riding scooters and taking in all there was to see. This is a photo gallery of some of our favorite places in Thailand.
Sure I hit up a lot of the ‘best of’ Thailand activities. We learned to scuba dive in Koh Tao, drove ourselves from Chiang Mai to Pai on a scooter, visited Bangkok, watched some incredible sunsets and, although I shudder to bring up one of the more painful experiences of my time there, I even accidentally got a Thai massage. Now, planning to head back to Thailand in October, I’m reflecting on all the things I didn’t do that I often hear so much about.

How to get from Krabi town to Ao Nang and Railay beach:: Distance from Krabi to Ao Nang is around 18km and it takes about 20 minutes by taxi (400-500B one way). Or you can get the local form of transport, a songthaew, which stops to pick up and drop off customers. It costs about 60B and takes about 45 minutes. From Ao Nang, Railay bay is only a 15 minute 100 baht boat ride away.
Long Beach makes Koh Phi Phi worth visiting! Read all about it on While I'm Young and Skinny.
