Encased in inexpensive vessels, miniature violets take on a delightful appeal. To assemble them, put the flowers in glass bowls, add a few pieces of plant charcoal at the roots (this will help them thrive), and press in fresh moss to conceal.

Restarting an African Violet, cut stem and place in water....just the very tip. Look at every day and add more water if needed. If stem is too deep in water may rot. Most times this method will work. Be sure to keep water clean and violet out of direct sunshine! Will be ready to repot in fresh African Violet Soil once strong thick white mass of roots form in about 4-6 weeks.
