Ardbeg Nam Beist (Islay): Found a bottle of this at Slattery's Irish Pub in Englewood, CO. I've heard many good things about it and it did not disappoint. Similar to Uigeadail, except more soft, subtle and sophisticated.
The Caol Ila Distiller's Edition appears to be a Caol Ila 12 year old that has been matured a further while in muscatel (a form of port) barrels. Taste: Light, fruity peaty flavors given an extra sweet richness from the muscatel.
Macallan 24 Year Old 1989 - Single Cask (Master of Malt)
Ardbeg Uigeadail - Uigeadail derives from the Scotch Gaelic for 'Dark and Mysterious Place' and is named for the Loch from whence Ardbeg draws its waters. Jim Murray's 2009 World Whisky of the Year, this cask-strength bottle exudes breathtaking balance.
