The cup had the number 1444 in the official 1607-1611 Rudolf II inventory and is now, with number 6846, in the Kunstkammer of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna/Austria.

On the cover, which is enameled inside and outside, there is a dolphin from a baroque pearl and gold enamelled with a flying enameled Cupido about it.
