Movies: Les Miserables: Character posters

Les Miserables - Hugh Jackman is Jean Valjean. NEVER thought I could love anyone better as ValJean than Alfie Boe, but Hackman blew me away with his raw authenticity of the character. Best acting I have ever seen.

Went to theater to see this with my nieces Jenny and Betsy. We were laughing along when BAM! I don't think any of us realized before going that it was a drama. Such a fantastic and well-done movie, but it ripped our hearts out. I can still remember being exhausted when it was over. It's often on TV, but I've yet to watch more than a scene or two - maybe afraid it will wipe me out again?

Tears of Endearment ~ starring Shirley MacLaine, Debra Winger, & Jack Nicholson. This is another Mother Daughter movie, but I wish everyone a Mother like Shirley if you take ill.

Funny Girl My favorite movie to cry over. Omar Shariff - not so hard to look at! Babs is "Fanny Bryce". Music is classic.

Hubby 1st saw this film and fell in love with Benigi, same way he fell for chaplin and the 3 stooges. And then I got to watch it, and I fell in love with the movie as well. It was a funny, romantic, painful story. After you watch this film, you will indeed say that life IS beautiful
