avocado skin dyeing (without mordant), i have successfully made use of avocado skins and seeds by putting them packed like kraut in jars, adding water just enough to cover, and then letting them ferment for 2 weeks. i strain the liquid then add equal parts apple cider vinegar and put garments in the dye bath to ferment too for at least a weak. i stir each day. the result is a brownish gold!
