Alan Arbus, the actor who played psychiatrist Major Sidney Freedman on the classic TV series "M*A*S*H," has died at the age of 95. He died Friday at his home in Los Angeles, The New York Times reports. His daughter, Amy Arbus, confirmed his death to the paper. In addition to his role on "M*A*S*H," Arbus also appeared on shows like "Matlock," "Taxi," "The Odd Couple," "Starsky & Hutch," "Judging Amy," and "NYPD Blue." His final on-screen appearance came in 2000, on "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
