A rectangular white cotton cloth with four borders of floral motifs enclosing a repeating pattern of red floral motifs painted freehand and with the use of a stencil. The cloth was specially commissioned as part of a sequence illustrating the historical development of kanga design.
Another Khanga with no words! Made by Nida Textiles to be sold in the Mwanza Region of Tanzania. This makes it a little bigger and softer than many other kangas available for sale in the rest of the country.
