Deenie by Judy Blume - I think I was scared of having scoliosis for months after having read this book.

Deenie ~ Judy Blume ~ This is the first Judy Blume book I ever read. Being a person with scoliosis, I could relate to Deenie. However, I feel I could have still related to Deenie without having the scoliosis in common.

Any future children will be read Judy Blume books until they are old enough to read them themselves. These books helped shape my childhood.

A teacher read this book to my class and did a voice for every character. Because of her, I do the same for my children and it really brings the stories to life!
