The Yusupov family. Prince Felix, Prince Nicholas, Count Felix Felixovich Sumarkov-Elston and Princess Zinaida.   In order that the Yusupov name might not die out, the prince's father, Count Felix Felixovich Sumarokov-Elston took the surname of his wife, Princess Zenaida Nikolaievna Yusupova upon their marriage, on 4 April 1882 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

THE ROMANOVS DESCENDANTS ~ Duchess Marina, granddaughter of GD Xenia, Nikolay II's sister. Marina was born in May, 1940 and she is the only daughter of Xenia's son Vasili. Until the age of 6 Marina spoke Russian as her parents believe they would return to Russia. Marina is very good in painting and photography, she is a teacher of drawing and painting, she has 4 children  and got 4 personal exhibitions ~

Felix Yusupov 1887-1967.  On 16 December 1916, the night of the murder, Felix invited Rasputin to his residence at the Moika Palace and told him that Irina would be in residence and Rasputin would have an opportunity to meet her. Rasputin had often expressed interest in meeting the beautiful 21-year-old princess.   Irina, however, was on a visit to the Crimea at the time.  Yusupov died in Paris in 1967.
