A Woman Is a Woman (French: Une Femme est une femme) is a 1961 French film directed by Jean-Luc Godard, featuring Anna Karina, Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean-Claude Brialy. It is a tribute to American musical comedy and associated with the French New Wave.
This is a promotional poster for Jean Luc Godard's 1964 film, "Bande a part," or "Band of Outsiders." As a pioneer of the French New Wave movement in cinema, Godard saw himself as one of the only directors in his generation not afraid to take risks.
