Pictured is the famous diarist and author Anne Frank, who is one of the most known Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Anne Frank was a young girl who was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and lived most of her life in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. When the Nazis gained control of Germany in 1939, Anne Frank and her family moved to Amsterdam.

This is the room Anne shared in the Annex that Anne Frank, her family, and four others lived in for two years and one month until they were anonymously betrayed to the Nazi authorities, arrested, and deported to their deaths in concentration camps.
