Walter was put on the FBI's 10 most wanted list in 2013 for sexually assaulting children, engaging in sexual acts with children in public places, and filming child porn. Homosexuality has NEVER been allowed in my Native American culture: it's still against tribal law in all First Nation tribes. Two-Spirit-- (also two spirit or twospirit) is a modern umbrella term used by some indigenous North Americans to describe gender-variant individuals in their communities.[1] The term was adopted in 1990 at an Indigenous lesbian and gay international gathering to encourage the replacement of the anthropological term berdache. It is a spiritual role that is recognized and confirmed by the Two-Spirit's indigenous community

George Catlin describes his sketch of the "Dance to the Berdache" in which men of the Sauk & Fox tribes throw a sacred man a feast & dance in which only his acknowledged lovers may participate.
