Victoria Kibler. Claremont, CA. This Little Free Library was given in memory of our neighbor, Mrs. Woodley, who loved books and who dearly loved children. In addition to the library box filled with books, this Little Free Library has a bench devoted to children's books so that even very little children can bring a book to the library and take a book from the library. We are on Facebook: Littlefreelibrary Claremont.

Sarita Williams. Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I LOVE books. For my 10th birthday, my Mom and Dad decided to make me the Steward of my very own Little Free Library. My Mom made the arrangements and Dad secretly made it for me. What a great surprise!! I cut the ribbon with my book loving friends at my birthday party. I LOVE it!
Shannon Gardner. St. Paul, MN. My wife Shannon is a book editor and asked that I build a Little Free Library for our small house and garden here on the east side of St. Paul. The library style is a bit "Seussical." There do not seem to be as many of these libraries in our vicinity as other places in the Twin Cities--I wasn't convinced that it would get much traffic. However--it has been up for less than a week and already we are getting low on kids' books!

Stephanie and Eric Christeson. Fargo, ND. Our whole family loves books and loves to share so this project is a perfect fit. It was built with scrap wood and on-hand hardware. It became an extended family project too; Eric's dad donated an old fence post. The last piece of hardware we needed was a door catch. We found it in a tool-box from Stephanie's father who passed away 2 years ago. This and his love of books is why we dedicate this library to him.
Suzanne Cook. Pekin, IL. I live on a quiet cul-de-sac full of busy parents and active children. Just in case everyone is too busy to visit the local library, they can come on over and find something to read. I was a daycare teacher for 25 years and have hundreds of children's books to share and the library is also home to many entertainment magazines as well as fiction, romances and autobiographies.
Morgan Impliazzo. Bend, OR. I made the library for a Girl Scout project to help my neighborhood!
Liz Bailey. Scotia, NY. This is a Little Free Library located in a walking neighborhood in the Village of Scotia New York. The library is dedicated to promoting early and ongoing literacy for children of all ages. It is sponsored by an elementary school librarian and her special education teacher husband, who built the LFL.
