Why Eat Liver-The Benefits
Swap your store bought multi-vitamin and start eating liver! ✔️Contains 25g of protein in a 4oz serving Source of vitamin A, B6, B12, D, E, K, folate, choline, thiamine, niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid. Also a source of calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, selenium, phosphorus and zinc. And NO, liver is NOT Toxic Yes, the liver is the main organ that is involved in detoxification, but it does not store toxins. It neutralizes them. Pre & Post Workout Nutrition
🙅Don't exercise on an empty stomach. For up to 2 hours post exercise muscle cells are more sensitive to insulin. Get in your carbs and protein Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is said to be taken 120 to 150 minutes before exercise. ⚠️Don't take baking soda with a protein as it robs stomach of hydrochloric acid. 👉It will be transformed to CO2 and cause gastrointestinal issues (and destroy the bicarbonate). ✔️So combine it with a small high carbohydrate meal.

Should You Avoid Gluten For PCOS?
Gluten is a hard to digest protein. Because it is hard to digest, it can cause digestive problems. If your digestion is slow, your gut is irritated, you have thyroid issues, a slow metabolism, etc, the body is going to have a hard time breaking down gluten. It needs to be making enough of the digestive enzymes to do the job. 👉If gluten isn't broken down, it can feed bacteria in the stomach and cause bacterial overgrowth. The bacteria can damage the gut and create intestinal permeability.
Should You Do HIIT For PCOS?
High intensity workouts significantly spike cortisol levels when compared to low intensity. Therefore high intensity workouts may not be so beneficial if you are looking to support your thyroid, metabolism and hormones. . But this doesn't mean you can't do high intensity workouts. COFFEE IS NOT BREAKFAST
⚠️The common symptom of feeling anxious or shaky/jittery after drinking coffee is from a lack of nutrients, which causes low blood sugar. ⚠️It should not be consumed first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Glucose levels are low because you have been sleeping and haven't eaten in 12 hours. So eat food before you drink coffee and add some calories to it.
