Japanese residence

Modern Asian till now) - shown by the Natural fabrics & materials used throughout the room. Incredibly simple in design, with rich carved wood. Designed to incorporate natural light within the space. A very peaceful & clam vibe.

Japanese room with open hearth

Typical with tatami flooring, sliding door and shoji - translucent paper over a frame of wood which holds together a lattice of wood or bamboo. Love when there is a sunken hearth.

cool shadow from the lamp. It's in Japanese but I bet you could figure out how to do it

shadow created by a lamp. Could possible be programmed in a way that the object changes over time. what a neat idea. shadow + light are sculpture, too.
