Never mind upper shelving, the new trend in kitchens which looks truly luxurious, spacious and even better, feels less like a utilitarian kitchen and more like another room in your home.

The thing is, there is no guaranteed-timeless anything you can install if you don’t pay attention to the details of your design. Even the most classic black and white hex floor can look off in the wrong application (gasp!). The days of defining spaces with flooring are over. We are now installing hardwood throughout the kitchen as well. There’s one more mistake I see all the time with granite countertops and that is: For the most part, granite doesn’t look good with trendy, current, geometric tile. Even if it’s plain and white. While granite might seem like the most up-to-date and current choice, marble or quartz is what everyone is doing right now in 2021.
