No Laughing, No Smiling, No Giggling by James Stevenson. Grade Level: First Grade. Standard: CC5.1.4.B: Explain rules and laws for the classroom, school, community, and state. Assessment Activity: As an activity, students will get into group of 4 or 5. Have each group make up silly rules to follow, ie. No touching your nose, no saying the word I, or no clapping.
