Resurrection Angel at Green-Wood Cemetery

This stunningly beautiful angel in the photo mosaic above is a bronze memorial on top of a substantial granite base, of a grave identified only by the name "Valentine." It is one of the approximately 106,000 monuments in the National Historic Landmark Green-Wood Cemetery located in Brooklyn, New York, which was establised in the year 1838. Angel, Sorrow only befalls upon the living. Angels protect good over evil, each serves, fights, and protects for a different reason. They are all bonded by only One Great and All Mighty. We depict what we think they look like, for love, comfort, protection, well being, peace, and placed upon a tree. Even if we really don't see them, to feel we have been graced by their presences is a gift beyond measure.
