Parallel is a minimal series of furniture designed by London-based designer Samuel Wilkinson for Deesawat. Parallel is made from thin strips of solid Teak, consisting of a table, bench and chair. The minimal designs use solid Teak from local sustainable plantations and was conceived after seeing smaller offcuts left unused after larger sections of Teak were cut for other projects.
BB Chair is a minimal chair designed by Paris-based CORPUS STUDIO for Lake Como Design Festival 2022. This new project was born from the desire to create a wooden round table, paired with a chair, characterised by rounded motifs that gives a welcoming atmosphere. Kraken Mare is a minimal table created by Paris-based designer Nicolas Dorval-Bory Architectes. Titan is the largest moon of Saturn and the second-largest natural satellite in the Solar System. At an approximate distance of 10 Astronomical Units, it is the only moon known to have a dense atmosphere, and the only known body in space, other than Earth, where clear evidence of stable bodies of surface liquid has been found.
Mitla Sillas is a minimal chair created by Mexico City-based artist Pedro Reyes for Harmonious Contradictions, an exhibition in collaboration between MASA and Sotheby’s. Harmonious Contradiction is a group exhibition presenting eight contemporary artists producing polished bronze and brass floor works by Mexico City-based MASA Galeria, in conversation with a selection of post-war and contemporary works curated by Sotheby’s.
Archivio is a minimal furniture collection designed by Milan-based studio CARA \ DAVIDE. Archivio is a small table or bench constructed from a single sheet of archived marble. The idea was to repurpose the archived material, transforming it into an object using few and simple technologies.
Camber is a minimalist furniture collection consisting of a bench and stool created by Eindhoven-based designer Paul Coenen. The Camber bench and stool originated from the idea of manufacturing a piece of furniture from a single piece of sheet metal. The inclining angle of the seat formed the basis for the rest of the design, with each cut and fold having the same 5 degree angle.
Play Table is a minimal ping pong table designed by South Korea-based studios Strol x Yeongkyu Yoo. The Play table is not just a ping pong table. The dimensions were adjusted to fit homes rather than recreational spaces, and was retrofitted with a diverse range of accessories to support different modes of lifestyles. The magnetic rope net serves as a beautiful centerpiece.
LC Sofa is a minimal sofa created by Hangzhou-based atelier TELLS STUDIO. LC series locks the critical state that the sofa foam does not fully expand. The elliptical shape neutralizes the cold feeling of stainless steel, while the combination of roundness in Chinese culture was integrated within the LC series. The collection adopts the combination of black leather and stainless steel, and pays homage to Corbusier.
YO Chair is a minimal chair created by Japan-based designer Hamanishi DESIGN for QUON. YO chair is designed by Japan-based studio, Hamanishi DESIGN, and created by QUON, a chair manufacturer in Osaka, Japan. YO is a stackable universal chair that will function in different contexts, in the cafeteria, restaurants, or in the office.
Solidified Reflections is a minimal furniture collection created by Belgium-based designer Linde Freya Tangelder of Destroyers/Builders for Carwan Gallery. The project is the result of a collaboration between Linde Freya Tangelder, Carwan Gallery and IN Residence under the cultural patronage of Cassina.
Intersect is a minimal shelf created by Ghent-based designer Bram Vanderbeke. Intersect is an architectural shelf, stool and column composed out of different intersecting shapes. Roughly welded together, and treated with both a mechanical and manual sanding treatment. A spacious object that plays with reflection, massiveness and transparency.
Pompei is a limited-edition coffee table designed by Zurich based designer and artist Lisa Franzen for FRANZEN&CASA. The coffee table is composed of two materials – the two cylindric bases are made of Swiss marble Cristallina, sculptured by hand. This particular choice of material is a special homage to Switzerland.
Posit is a minimal table created by Sweden-based designer Karl-Johan Hjerling for Snickeriet. The expression of Posit stems from its assembly, which has been stripped down to the most rudimentary components. The glass top is glued to the glass frame and is meticulously slid on top of a perfectly fitted cedar base.
Homage Stool is a minimal stool created by Stockholm-based atelier Note Design Studio for Ariake. The Homage Stool can be seen as the extra seat by the dining table at home, as well as being the product that sets the tone of voice for a cafe or restaurant. A repeated “T” shaped junction supports the light seat and backrest.
Slab Collection 2 is a minimal furniture collection designed by Vancouver-based studio Union Wood Co. Canadian furniture studio, Union Wood Co, teamed up with Alyssa Lewis of Studio Block to design and build a series of seating called the Slab Collection. With increasing interest from both the design community and clients, the studios were inspired to expand on the collection with complementing tables, storage units, and accent tables.

Silver Root is a minimal sculptural object created by Copenhagen-based designer Caia Leifsdotter. Her creative approach never fails to take the historical and architectural framework into consideration, but Caisa’s speciality is creating balanced spaces through high contrast — juxtaposing traditional interiors with contemporary flair, or vice versa. The piece can be used standalone or as a base for marble top.
