Dating from the late fourteenth century and still in the possession of the family, this fragment measures 45 by 27 centimetres. It represents a combination of the arms of the dukes of Savoy with the family arms of de Blonays. The combination has no genealogical basis. The banner expresses the interlinking of the interests of the house of Savoy with the revenues and spiritual endowments of the house of de Blonay.
