Rakusu

Rakusu är ett plagg som ställföreträder det plagg som Buddha en gång sydde av små tygremsor från avlidnas kläder. Efter att ha sytt samman en mantel, färgade han alltsammans gult med saffran. Antagligen också för att dölja likstanken. Rakusun tas således från funna tygremsor som sys samman efter ett strikt mönster. Den hänger runt halsen i ett brett band, som är delat på hjärtsidan där det fästs samman med en träring. På insidan av rakusun tecknas mästarens koan till eleven.
