This is a quick to knit project, perfect for a gift or even yourself! The stitch is an easy lace pattern which looks like a cable, but isn’t.

Simple stockinette gloves with half fingers to fit a man’s small hand, or a woman’s large. Full fingers can easily be substituted. Thumb is placed slightly toward the palm, and pinkie finger is lower than the other three fingers. These fingerless gloves feature a decorative lace rib pattern that looks like strings of tiny cables on top of each mitt and a simple ribbing on the palm side for comfort. Cable needles and cable knitting experience is not necessary because the mock cables are actually created with a basic slipped stitch sequence followed by a yarn over in an easy to memorize five row pattern.
