For two hours each week, I enter my sensei's tea room to study Japanese tea ceremony. The way of tea is teaching me how to be a gracious host, a considerate guest, and how to be in the world. It is reminding me of where I come from, and slowly, my memory is coming back.🍵I'm learning Japanese proverbs like this one, which remind me that it's the small consistent actions that allow one to reach a greater goal. Keep striking at that tree, and it will eventually fall.
