Anonymous oil painting, created around 1470 in Swabia (German Empire). Known as The dead lovers, the painting belongs to the collection of the Musée de l'Œuvre Notre-Dame in Strasbourg. For years, it has been wrongly attributed to Matthias Grünewald.
