Wheels of Fire
I denuded sunflowers and delphiniums of their petals. They were then individually coated with petroleum jelly, which acted as both an adhesive and a way of sealing in the moisture, thus sustaining the life of the window display. Every single petal was placed by hand on the window. The 'blown circle' design was chosen as a contrast to the grid-like urban environment in which the shop is located and as a way of revealing the petals as they float away.
