Ginzan Onsen in Yamagata Prefecture is one of the most well-known onsen towns in Japan. It's famed for some of the best picturesque hot spring baths and traditional inns in the country. 📍 It's also conveniently connected to Tokyo too! From Tokyo, take the JR Yamagata Shinkansen to Oishida Station (which takes around 3.5 hours, costing 12,000 yen - approx $154 AUD). From here catch a bus to Ginzan Onsen (which takes 35 minutes, and costs 710 yen, approx $9 AUD). #VisitJapanAU
