Lower your left arm to your left leg and arch back coming into Crescent Moon, also known as Reverse Warrior. Continue to lower your pelvis, keeping your right knee over your ankle. Hold the pose for five full breaths. Yoga Poses, Standing Yoga Poses, Standing Yoga, Yoga Stretches, Cool Yoga Poses
Reverse Warrior
Lower your left arm to your left leg and arch back coming into Crescent Moon, also known as Reverse Warrior. Continue to lower your pelvis, keeping your right knee over your ankle. Hold the pose for five full breaths.
Triangle:  alignment - front foot inline with the middle of the back.  back toes point forward, heel back.  left hand left hip, right finger tips forward,  send left hip back as the right hand reaches forward.  create space evening in both side bodies.  set the right hand on the thigh, shin, or floor.  raise the left hand straight up.  press into the feet as you reach up.  keep the shoulders in line with the plane of the legs.  avoid rotating left shoulder forward. Triangle: alignment - front foot inline with the middle of the back. back toes point forward, heel back. left hand left hip, right finger tips forward, send left hip back as the right hand reaches forward. create space evening in both side bodies. set the right hand on the thigh, shin, or floor. raise the left hand straight up. press into the feet as you reach up. keep the shoulders in line with the plane of the legs. avoid rotating left shoulder forward.
Warrior 2- alignment:  back foot parallel to the back of the mat, front foot in line with the middle of the back, front toes point directly forward, shoulders above the hips, gaze over the front middle finger.  Press into the outer edge of the back foot while you sink into the front thigh.  Distribute the weight evenly between front and back feet, hips, shoulders and arms - embracing the past as much as the future, in the enlightened centered strong present - warrior II.
