loving the texture of this Sedici storage unit by Roberto and Stefano Truzzolillo. Made of solid wood, the piece is assembled with cuts of 45 degrees so that the external edges will turn out to simply be thin lines. It reminds me of basket weaving.
Carving, in the form of butchery, is being used as a technique to create the front doors of this credenza. Soft closing hinges allow the doors to wing upward so they are able to open and close with a minimal seam.
