今回は中世の継手・仕口概観の最後。ス)「慈照寺東求堂(じしょうじとうぐどう9」、セ)「大仙院本堂(だいせんいんほんどう)」そしてソ)「新長谷寺客殿(しんちょうこくじきゃくでん)」について。このうち、「新長谷寺客殿」については資料が手許にありません。今回は、すでに載せた継手・仕口図のほかに、「東求堂」と「大仙院」については、梁行・桁行断面図を載せました。その図の色を付けてある箇所は、小屋裏:天井裏になる部分です。このス)セ)ソ)の3例は、いずれも「桔木(はねぎ)」によって軒をつくるときの、その下の化粧天井:「化粧垂木」を受ける「桁」(これも「化粧」です)の柱への取付け法と、その継手・仕口の図です。この手法・方法は、「書院造」に共通の仕様で、「慈照寺東求堂」の例が最初の事例のようです(もちろん現存建物の中で)。「化...日本の建物づくりを支えてきた技術-29・・・・継手・仕口(13):中世の様態・5
