This is a quote from Sylvia Plath's novel "The Bell Jar". It's a humorous little relief in a very heavy novel. I'm so drawn to it because it's so uncharacteristic for Plath to be improper and funny, but I can also completely identify with the sentiment. As can many other college aged females I would presume.
